Quarantine rule ends for travellers arriving into Scotland

Public health measure lifted for some overseas travellers arriving in Scotland

57 overseas destinations have made the list for those with similar or lower levels of coronavirus infection than Scotland and therefore will no longer need to quarantine. Travellers from the 14 UK overseas territories will also be exempt.

The measure will be lifted today, 10th July, for those arriving from countries and territories on the list into Scotland. There are 26 European nations among them, including Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Italy and Malta.

Passengers arriving from the select destinations will still be required to complete the online passenger locator form prior to travel and will need to supply contact details, travel details and address of the final destination where they will be staying. Travellers arriving into Scotland via an English port or airport, or directly to the country, will still need to quarantine if they have been in a country which is not on the exemption list.
